I understand the unique struggle authors face when translating the magic in their heads onto the page. Story is everything, and it’s my passion to help authors tell it well.

With 16+ years of experience, I’ve edited novels, novellas, short stories, and creative non-fiction ranging from short articles to full-length books. I’m a champion for new authors, and I balance encouragement with feedback you can trust.

Industry Experience

In addition to my training and education editing, I’m a returning Royal Palm Literary Award judge and an award-winning author. I maintain active membership in ACES: The Society for Editing, the Editorial Freelancers Association, the Florida Writers Association, and the Women’s Fiction Writers Association.

Insight

Outside the editing world, I earned a degree in International Studies with a focus on cross-cultural communications. I’ve lived in many different cultures, so I’m particularly fond of stories that push characters (and readers) out of their comfort zones.
